I want to know more about Jesus, but my Christian friends are afraid to tell me.

This was what Amr* asked one of the Voice of Egypt* team. Our partner is not only a broadcaster but also a ‘first responder’, part of the follow-up team, who connects with listeners over social media to build relationships with them with the hope that she will be able to inspire them to follow Jesus.

We know that our supporters have the same passion and desire as we and our ministry partners do – that more people come to know and follow Jesus. We wanted to do something to bring you even closer to listeners, so we reached out with one of our appeals and invited the recipients to respond to Amr’s question with a message about Jesus. Every gift of prayer, time and money has an impact on the lives of our partners and listeners, but the gift of these words has touched their hearts more directly.

At a recent online prayer meeting, our partner shared with us just how much receiving these messages means to her and her team. These messages are a real encouragement and blessing to people who need to hear God’s message of love and hope – both the few ‘workers in the field’ and their listeners, who are often living in darkness. Our partner wanted to thank each supporter who sent a message to Amr, personally. That wasn’t possible, so she recorded the video below:
