After years of scrutiny, restrictions and persecution, many Tibetans have sought refuge in neighbouring countries. Due to the discrimination and marginalisation Tibetans face, many cling more tightly to their beliefs and religion, making sharing the gospel extremely challenging.

Gaweylon (meaning 'good news' in Tibetan) radio station aims to reach Tibetan Buddhists living in Tibet, India, Nepal, Bhutan and the rest of the world, with God’s message of love. Broadcasting three times a week in the Central Tibetan language on shortwave, the team share traditional music alongside health information and teaching on Christian values.
