God's growing work in Iraq

We have been privileged to work with our partners in Iraq for over twenty years. Now, they feel God is prompting them to expand, and they are creating new radio stations, starting in Basra in the south of Iraq, followed by Hillah in the centre and Mosul in the north.

Turning lives around

Many Iraqi listeners phone in to ask questions. Our partners told us about an Assyrian man named Salah* who asked this. “I’ve been living in sin for ten years. Is there a chance that Jesus would accept me back into His Kingdom?” Yosef said, “We told him that there is repentance in Christ, and we are encouraging him and praying with him so that he will take that step of faith to trust again.”

Expanding into new places

Reaching more people groups with the gospel means working in different places and with new partners. This includes our brand-new partnership with FEBC Cambodia.

Having created an audio Khmer Bible, FEBC Cambodia realised it had lots of potential but was unsure how it could be developed. This is where Feba comes in, as our CEO Kevin explains: “Together, we considered what else could be possible. This now includes daily Bible devotional materials, a scripture search feature on their website, and the purchase of audio devices with the Bible uploaded to give out in more remote areas of the country.”
